Take the Mediterranean Highway A-7 towards Marbella and follow the signs for Algeciras-Marbella until you reach Fuengirola.
Make sure you do not take the AP–7 (toll road). Continue towards Marbella until the La Cala de Mijas exit.
At the roundabout go right towards the mountains and continue along a straight road. Take the first exit at the next roundabout. At the following roundabout you will see signs for Hotel La Cala/La Cala Resort; take the second exit and continue for 5 km to La Cala Resort.
Take the Mediterranean Highway A-7 towards Málaga, and make sure you do not take the AP–7 (toll road). Follow the signs for Málaga until you reach La Cala de Mijas.
Take the exit and at the next roundabout underneath the highway, take the third exit to the mountains, you will see signs for Hotel La Cala/La Cala Resort continue for 5 km to La Cala Resort.
Another option is to use the road from Elviria. It’s only 11 kilometres using the highlighted road which has been newly signposted to our resort!

As a consequence of Mijas’ proximity to the warm Mediterranean Sea, there is hardly ever any frost during our very mild winters and rarely extreme heat in the dry summers.
The temperatures settle on an average of 18°C throughout the year. With less than 600 mm of rainfall, which mainly occurs between November and March, Mijas prides itself with 2920 hours and approximately 320 days of sunshine a year. The Sierra Blanca mountain range protects Mijas from the worst weather and the extreme elements.
