Cristina Mariño is our Revenue & Reservations Manager who proudly celebrated a 20-year anniversary working at La Cala Resort.

Originally from Madrid, she moved to Malaga to complete her university studies. After completing a one-year internship in Germany, followed by three years working in London with Hyatt and Mandarin Oriental Hotels, she returned to Malaga and made the Costa del Sol her home. At La Cala Resort, Cristina served initially for two years as Front Desk Manager and ten years as Reservations Manager, before serving in her current role of Revenue & Reservation Manager.

Her position combines her passions for travel, math, and interacting with guests. “Every day is always different,” adds Cristina. During her many years at La Cala, she continues to look forward to her captivating drive to work into the mountains with views that “never get old,” as well as working with her fabulous team of four and everyone at La Cala – “we all work together as a family here.”
