We are happy to announce that Patrice Godino, Executive Chef has joined our La Cala Resort team. Originally from Pau (near Biarritz), France, Patrice brings a wealth of culinary experience to his new role, having worked internationally within the hospitality sector, both as an Executive Chef and as a Private Chef.
Prior to joining La Cala, he worked as a Private Chef catering to a global network of exclusive high- end villas and clientele, working in Marbella, Ibiza, and Monaco. In addition, he worked along the Costa del Sol with Metro Group as Executive Chef where he managed all kitchen teams for the 16 restaurants in their portfolio. In prior years, he worked with Nikki Beach in Marbella.
As Executive Chef of La Cala, Patrice’s goal is to “bring La Cala’s gastronomy to the Next Level,” as he states with strong enthusiasm. After evaluating our current offerings, he created a plan for La Cala to excel in culinary excellence within the short, mid, and long terms. As part of his vision, a current initiative is underway to introduce La Bodega Steakhouse that will offer premium and locally sourced cuts of meat that will be prepared on a charcoal grill from a new open kitchen that will be introduced in 2025. In addition, our signature restaurant, La Terraza, will offer a new menu with Mediterranean cuisine that will be focused on fresh, local, seasonal products and quality produce. This will be implemented following the completion of La Terraza’s restaurant renovation within the first quarter of 2025. At The Clubhouse Bar & Restaurant, a new addition of weekly suggestions was introduced to our menu to offer our guests expanded dining options. As you will note Patrice has been quite busy since his first day at La Cala. We are very excited to have Patrice as part of our team and please help us welcome him to our La Cala family.
