The arrival of Mariló Hernandez at La Cala Spa opens a new window of opportunities for the golf and leisure resort. The new head considers the enclave as “a diamond in the rough”. In fact, during her career in this sector, she has visited numerous wellness centres and highlights the La Cala Spa facilities as “the best designed, complete and most comfortable” that she has seen.
The addition of this renowned professional in the design and management of spa centres has two objectives. The aim is to achieve excellence in the Spa & Wellness services within the resort and with “a higher level of notoriety and recognition” being realised by the clients.
Looking towards the new season, the first innovations in the Spa have already been made; affecting the general atmosphere with a new list of most current treatments “and tailored to meet the customer’s expectations.” Furthermore, the management have added “new options and names” to products on sale.
The new director incorporates a personal philosophy and brings “a breath of fresh air” to advance the Spa by applying “concepts of Zen minimalism”, which will encourage the “return to nature and the holistic care of the individual.” For Mariló, the important thing is to combine “the feelings and elements” present in nature. These are “the heat from hands, the benefits of a plant, the comfort of a scent, serenity of silence or the pleasure of a nice texture”, achieving in short that the client enjoys a unique experience, better than any other Spa centres they may have visited.
