Key Account Manager

Rocio Álvarez is our Key Account Manager who manages and cultivates La Cala’s relationships with our tour operators and agencies. Born and raised in Malaga, she joined La Cala in 2003 as a reservations agent and later transitioned to the sales team which led her to her current position as Key Account Manager since 2012. As part of her role, she represents La Cala at our various trade shows to promote La Cala as a key resort destination to new prospective suppliers, as well as to meet with our key partners.

Rocio states, “when our trade partners initially visit La Cala to experience our resort, they are most surprised about the spectacular natural beauty of our location, the quality of our golf courses, and the warm and friendly staff that make them feel welcome throughout their stay.” She adds, “the relationships that we have built over the years are based upon a foundation of trust and frequent communication with our suppliers, who know that we have a strong team at La Cala who will ensure that every detail is met for their clients before and during their stay at La Cala. And ultimately their client’s feedback is a key factor. With that in mind, La Cala is extremely proud of our 2024 award recognition as “Spain’s Golf Resort of the Year” by the International Association of Golf Tour Operators (IAGTO).”
