Philip Fitzsimon's Memorial Cup, past Captains' Day

Twelve past captains participated in the recent invitational event that is held annually in recognition of the great voluntary work done by each captain during their year of service.

This year’s golf competition was won by Francisco Cervilla who was captain in 2007. The event was initiated by Philip Fitzsimons who was President of La Cala for over a decade before his untimely death in April 2008. The large turnout is a fitting tribute to his memory and demonstrates the strength and goodwill that exists within the club today.
